TECNIUM chemical pumps

Description

BN series pumps, Centrifugal plastic pumps made of thermoplastic materials.

Horizontal centrifugal plastic chemical pumping unit designed for pumping chemically aggressive liquids.

Maximum temperature of the pumped liquid: 70 ºС Design features: The pump is horizontal, single-stage, centrifugal type.

The pump must be manufactured in accordance with ISO 2858 / EN 22858, it is a single-stage horizontal centrifugal pump; the pump shaft has its own mount; the shaft is connected to the asynchronous motor by means of a connecting plate and an intermediate insert.

The pump has an axial suction port and a radial outlet, and the pump housing and mechanism housing are supported for attachment to an ISO 3661 standard frame. The impeller and housing are in contact with liquid and are made of thermoplastic rubber.

The rest of the components are made of materials with high chemical resistance.

The pumped liquid may contain a maximum of 5% non-abrasive solids, which must not exceed 0.1 mm in size and must not stick or be filamentous. In some cases, the presence of solid impurities with a maximum allowable size of 0.5 mm is allowed.

Description

The TECNIUM pump of the “BAS” and “BTS” series is designed and designed for transferring liquid chemical products with specific gravity, viscosity, temperature and other physical properties that allow them to be pumped by a centrifugal pump into a stationary tank.

The characteristics of the liquid (pressure, temperature, chemical aggressiveness, specific gravity, viscosity, vapor pressure) and medium must be compatible with the operating characteristics of the pump and must be specified at the time of ordering.

The impeller (pos. M3) and casing (pos. M9) are in contact with the liquid and are made of thermoplastic rubber. The rest of the components are made of materials with high chemical resistance. The operating data of the pump (capacity, manometric height, rpm) are determined at the time of ordering and are indicated on the nameplate.

TECNIUM pumps of the “BAS” and “BTS" series are vertical, single-stage, submersible centrifugal pumps; the pump shaft has its own fastening; the shaft is connected to the asynchronous electric motor using a coupling and an intermediate bushing.

The pump has an axial suction port and a radial outlet port. For fastening to the beams of the pit or tank, the pump housing and the mechanism housing are equipped with a support platform.

The “BAS” and “BTS” series pumps are not self-priming. The pump rotates clockwise when viewed from the motor side.

The pumped liquid may contain a maximum of 7% non-abrasive solids, which must not exceed 0.5 mm in size and must not stick or be filamentous. In some cases, the presence of solid impurities with a maximum allowable size of 1.0 mm is allowed.

Characteristics

The kinematic viscosity must not exceed 40 cP, otherwise the performance of the pump may be greatly affected.

Higher values, up to a maximum of 120 cP, are allowed, provided that the appropriate impeller and motor are installed, the parameters of which are specified at the time of order. The maximum temperature of the liquid medium during continuous operation of the pump depends on the type of material (code is indicated on the plate)

These values may vary depending on the operating pressure. The ambient operating temperature range also depends on the type of material. The maximum pressure for which the pump is designed is 1.5 times the manometric height with the discharge port closed. The net suction head (NPSH) of the system must exceed (by at least 1 meter fl) the NPSH required to operate the pump. The pump does not have any device that prevents the return of the pumped liquid when the engine is stopped. The pump must always be operated with the guard installed on the coupling.

OPERATING PRINCIPLE HYDRAULIC

Like all other centrifugal pumps, the pump consists of a vaned impeller that rotates inside a fixed casing. The pump has a radial outlet connection (pointing upwards, with an internal baffle). Said rotation creates a vacuum in the center of the impeller and causes the liquid to pass from the central suction port to the outlet pipe; when passing through the channel of the impeller, the liquid receives the necessary energy. MECHANICAL. Static stress generated in the pipes is absorbed by the metal platform of the pump housing. The pump shaft is directly connected to the impeller, causing it to rotate, the shaft is driven by bearings that transfer the mechanical load of the impeller to the base. Coupling connecting the pump to the electric motor (IEC - V1, attached to the base with a flange).

GUARANTEE

All pumps manufactured by the company are thoroughly tested when leaving the factory, and they are guaranteed for a period of one year for all factory defects and non-conformances with specifications, subject to the agreement of operating conditions with the manufacturer's technical department, which can assist in the development of any system design.

ENGINE

Electrical connection. The electrical connection to the power terminals determines the direction of rotation of the motor, which can be checked by observing the rotation of the engine cooling fan it should rotate clockwise when viewed from the engine side.
