Control Cabinets Gateway Ventures (CA) LTD

The control cabinet is designed to control and protect pumps with standard asynchronous AC motors with a squirrel-cage rotor in accordance with the control signals and the required operation algorithm of the units.

The control cabinet provides:

  • Comprehensive protection of supply circuits and electric motors
  • Choice of control modes: automatic or manual
  • Automatic control of electric motors by signals from float switches, electrodes or other external relay or analog control signals
  • • Automatic shutdown of electric motors in the presence of an external signal (thermal relay or other relay contact) and automatic activation in its absence
  • Automatic shutdown of electric motors in case of a short circuit or operation of a thermal relay built into the motor protection circuit breaker
  • Automatic shutdown of electric motors in case of loss of one of the phases
  • Visual display of a working or emergency condition of each electric motor
  • Remote transmission of an alarm signal for each electric motor
  • ( potential-free contacts)
  • It is possible to select the number of main/standby pumps using the logic module settings inside the cabinet
  • Periodic change of functions of electric motors at specified intervals of operation in order to equalize the resource (only for cabinets for two or more electric motors)
  • Smooth start and stop of pumps for a series of cabinets with a soft starter Trial run of each pump during downtime to protect against jamming (on request)
  • Output of information about the current state of the pump to the control room
  • Protection of pumps from running without water by connecting a dry running sensor
  • (pressure switch, level sensor, etc.)
  • Dispatching: "Accident" of each electric motor
  • Facilitate troubleshooting by constantly monitoring the status of the sensors.
